Kals am Grossglockner Cable Car to Adler Lounge. Walk on Panaromaweg to Kals-Matreier-Törl-Haus (2,207m), to Kalser Hohe (2,434 m) and Pfarrbuchel (2,387 m); back to Kals-Matreier-Törl-Haus and Adler Lounge

| This was a walk planned by Robin on Wednesday, Collett's day off. We drove to Kals am Grossglockner and took the cable car from its base at 1,350 m. The cable car costs 25 euro for the 3.65 km journey, rising 1,041 m to a height of 2,379 m at Adler Lounge. From here we descended to Bunkopfl, before contouring round to Kals-Matreier-Torl-Haus hut. From this hut we contoured round to Kals Hohe, and then back to the hut. A steep zigzag path took us back to Adler Lounge for the return cable car journey. |
